I am sorry to hear you have been having a hard time getting your audio issue resolved. Now be sure I will attempt to help you with your issue but would encourage you to post this in the HP Business Forums as your Ultrabook is actually a Business product and the software and drivers associated with your product are different than on a regular HP Consumer product.

Now for the audio issue for me I would try the original drivers that came with your system. To do this follow the steps below.
Step 1. At the Tiles menu type "Recovery"
Step 2. Choose HP Recovery Manager
Step 3. Drivers and Applications Reinstall
Step 4. Choose IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver
Step 5. Install
Step 6. Restart your computer
