Why not reinstall the Intel IDT sound driver? It may resolve the issue.
Can you post an image of what it looks like when you try running sfc scannow? It should work. It is part of the operating system utilities.
IMO Kaspersky is just about as bad as having a freebie antivirus. Per the ratings and IMO ESET Smartsuite and Norton Internet security are better products.
As a trubleshooting measure, Turn Kaspersky off and go to the ESET website and run the online scanner. Delete anything ESET finds and says is an intrusion or trojan\virus.
It sounds as if you have malware or somethig else affecting your operating system.
