With having the head phones icon displayed and not being able to hear any sound from the built in speakers, I have included the document 'Adjusting the Audio Volume and Beats Audio Settings on Your HP Tablet (Android 4.1/Jelly Bean)'. Please click on the option for Changing Beats Audio settings, and pay particular attention to number 4 and figure 13.

Please let me know if you are able to hear sound from the built in speakers after, thank you.
