My product number is LW400UA#ABA. My model number is 14-2054SE. I purchased this computer second hand, and when i booted it, it had a generic version of windows 7 on it, so i went to my neighborhood Office Depot and purchased Windows 8.1, they were no longer carring Windows 7 or 8. I installed the 64bit CD and the product key for the software i purchased. What im getting at is, for some reason, i no longer have HP settings. So i cant do the HP Recovery Manager. Like i said in the previous forum, i downloaded the driver from the HP site and it worked but now its not compatable. Ive looked around on here diligently, and it seems like alot of people are having the same problem. I appreciate your efforts in finding a solution. Please let me know if there is any other information i could give you that would help.
