Hi princessvidal. The size of the X2 would limit the maximum volume that the speakers can turn out.

If the speakers are in proper working order, and you are not in a huge room the sound might not be meeting your expectations. Have you tried it with headphones? I suspect you have, and would assume that it was probably acceptable.

This document is not specific to your concerns but it will help you prove that the speakers are working as designed.
