I also have a HP laptop (Pavilion DV4t-1300 running Win 7) and just purchased the Bose Soundlink Mini bluetooth speaker. I successfully paired the speaker with my iPhone and iPad but have been unsuccessful pairing it to my HP laptop. I called Bose support and after 10 min of troubleshooting was told that the version of Bluetooth on the laptop lacks support for "A2DP". I have gone through the process of updating my Bluetooth driver - HP says I have the latest version (HP Integrated module with Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology).
I do see that there is a download called "Software Support for HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth Wireless Technology for Microsoft Windows 7". It supports devices with "HP Integrated module with Bluetooth 2.1 wireless technology". It states that this download provides "additional Bluetooth Profiles". Is it possible that A2DP support is included in this release? Please advise.
