I understand that your brand new Sleekbook, does not have any sound. Here is a link to the software and driver page for your model.  If you click on, the more details link for the driver, it takes to another screen where you can select Install and it will provide you the instructions. You can also run the HP Support Assistant, to help with updates and resolving issues.  You also have a built in troubleshooter with Windows 8 or 8.1. This link will provide you the necessary instructions.No Sound From Speakers (Windows 8). Please let me know the outcome.
