It almost seems that the NVIDIA driver is causing the issue. Perhaps uninstall and reinstalling the driver from Device Manager will resolve the issue. According to the product specifications, this should be the only graphic card in the computer. To uninstall it:
1. Go into Device Manager.
2. In Device Manager, look for the card under "Display Adapters".
3. Right click on it and select "uninstall". Do not restart the computer.
Once this is done, you should install the updated driver with HP Support Assistant. I will provide a document on how to do this: Downloading or Updating Software and Drivers for HP Computers
