About 2 years ago my father purchased an HP Pavilion dm1 for me, which I just recently had gotten fixed a few weeks ago, (the screen was cracked.)
Today, I started uninstalling things I didn't think were needed on my laptop, and I think I might have accidentally deleted something for the sound to play out of the built-in speakers. My sound shows a little red and white x next to it inside of a cirlcle, and when I hover over it, it says "No speakers or headphones are plugged in." but, they're built in speakers. I used the "Detect Problems" choice, and nothing came up for an answer. I'm not sure what's wrong with it, but it won't let me play my music because it claims, "There is a problem with your sound card. Spotify can't play music." I'm not positive what's wrong, but I do believe I accidentally deleted a program which allowed my sound to play. If this is the case, what should I download to get my sound back? Thank you in advance.
