Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP Pavilion g6-1d65ca Notebook and buzzing on the sound. Thank you for providing me with the things that you have tried (very helpful).

Here is a fix from Microsoft that has helped sound issues.
Speakers not working Windows
1. Right click speaker icon (right hand corner)
2. Select Playback devices
3. Right click Speakers
4. Enable it and set as Default
5. Click Apply/Ok
Restart the computer.
