hp g60 windows 8

Hello Everyone,

I just upgraded my computer to HP G60 Notebook to Windows 8. Everything seem to be working properly except my built in micro phone. I do a lot of calling on my computer. I can hear and see everyone on my end and they can see me as well. They just cannot hear me. Any suggestions?

Also it gets hot pretty quickly. I have to keep a towel or something underneath so it won't burn my legs and the battery loose power pretty quickly, but it says the battery is fine.
