1. Please try to uninstall and reinstall HP Support Assistant. You can uninstall it from Control Panel, then reinstall it from this website: HP Support Assistant
2. Sometimes, the error can occur when the .Net Framework is corrupt. Please download and install version 4.5 from this website: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5
