Good Evening,
I have an HP Laptop with Windows Vista. For almost two months my computer has not been giving any sound. At first I thought it was because the laptop may have gotting nocked around during traveling, but everything else on the computer is working fine. I have shut down, restarted, muted, and unmuted. I have also checked the properties of the sound card on the computer (by using the Help program) and i am getting, "this device is funcioning properly." I have also plugged in headphones (just in case it was just the speakers) but that didn't work either.
Any help is appreciated! We have an electronic repair shop at my location but they charge $40 just to look at the computer.
