If it is a hardware problem, how would I go about it? My laptop is less than an year old, how would I find out if it is under warranty? What is the exact compnent that needs to be replaced? Would I have to reset the laptop to factory settings?
And would the replacement part be covered by warranty?
I too, after more than a month of grappling with the problem, am leaning towards the idea that this might be hardware issue. I cannot think of anything else that would explain the problem. But I would like to have these and other questions answered before I have the system board, as you say, replaced. SO I would appreciate it ver much if you could direct me to the answers to these questions.
