With the Beats Audio software, this does come pre installed on your computer, and is not available for download. Depending on what you used for the clean install of Windows, the software may no longer be available. Meaning if the Windows 8.1 installation CD that you used did not have Beats Audio included, you do not have it.

Now if by chance you do still have the original recovery partition that came with your notebook, you maybe able to reinstall the Beats Audio software from the recovery manager. I have included the document 'Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 8)'.

With the head phone jack not functioning, I have included the document 'Resolving Microphone and Line-in Problems (Windows 8)'. Please click on the option for Resolving other microphone/line-in problems, and follow through the steps listed.

Now there is a small possibility of getting Beats Audio back if you do have IDT audio drivers installed, to see if this might be a possibility for you, I would need to know the full model number of your Envy x2. I have included the document 'Guide to finding your product number'.
