Ok so i bought a brand new head set called the Turtle Beaches x12 and i can't use it on my hp envy m6 laptop because the laptop only has one hole to connect headphones. the turtle beaches come with two plug in things one is pink one is green and a usb.(green cable = headphones pink cable = microphone) what do i do?!? (when i plug in green one the hearing works fine but when i plug in pink one microphone doesnt work) my laptop has one audio headphone hole on the left. im so mad because this is new. and ive checked on the internet how to solve it. it told me to buy a cable called a audio splitter so i bought one. but it doesnt work!!! when i plugged it in my hp then i plugged in the green and pink cables into the audio splitter. the hearing works fine but the microphone doesnt i dont know why. the mic is the only problem and i want to fix it. i wasted 70 dollars for no reason. PLEASE HELP!!!! :smileysad:
