Hi there

Ok...I have been going down through and running these tools and when I got to the registry degrag I ran into problems.  It wouldn't let me run it.  It would do the analyze then it wanted me to clean up some junk files it found but it wouldn't let me see the details or set up to degrag upon the next boot.  It wanted me to install boost 6 to get rid of the junk files.  I uninstalled it a couple of times and then it said that the files were corrupted and to uninstall and reinstall.  Chrome started acting weird, it went into a loop where the screen kept flashing and jumping all over.  So I uninstalled chrome and removed the Auslogics Reg Defrag. made sure everything was removed the best I could.  I was unable to remove some chrome files out of the file mgr (library).  I signed into yahoo and in the middle of finding my link to the forum ie had to close the weg page do to problems.  So I didn't get to far.  I knew it was going to smoothly LOL.  So the registry hadn't been degragged, I don't know how important that is.  And I haven't run the driver booster yet.  Still have the yellow exclamation  regarding the Ralink driver download.  I made restore points in case I ran into problems and backed up the registry prior to running the programs.  Checked how the web cam looked and it was a little better but not much, still grainey but a little clearer.  So what do you suggest? or what should I do first, second, third etc.  I wanted to download one of the browsers you told me about.  I feel that IE still has some major problems. So I am putting this up for now and will wait to her from you, should I do a restore back a couple days before continuing on?  I had the update from MS come down through and it installed successfully.  Will be looking for your reply.  Wish you could remotely take a look.  I feel like there are things that should be running that aren't and things that are running shouldn't be.  I had 99 processes running when I rebooted.  Is that normal with the windows 8? having the start screen and the desktop screen and the AMD.  Plus I have a homegroup (do I need to have that? thought I did due to having the Ipad and my phone paired with this).  Hope your having a nice weekend :)
