No Sound

Hi, 

I have a pavillon  d7 and the sound doesn't  work if there is no headphone. I can hear sounds for few seconds when I test "Comunications Headphones" in the Control Panel but that's it. Could you please advise? Missing the NBA playoffs and I need my sound. Not the same emotion with a mute computer.
