Hi:

 

Your notebook is not supported by HP for Windows 7, let alone Windows 8.

 

For the coprocessor, you need to install the nvidia chipset driver.

You may have to manually install the driver if the auto install doesn't work.'

 

Same for the video. If you are seeing a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter in the device manager under the display adapters section, the video needs this driver which also needs to be manually installed.

If your notebook has the Conexant audio chip as most dv6700's do, I would try the HP vista audio driver to see if that gets the microphone to work.
