If the speakers on your HP Envy x360 Convertible PC are not working, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

Check Volume Settings:

  • Ensure the volume is not muted and is turned up.
  • Verify that the volume settings in Windows are correct by clicking on the speaker icon in the taskbar.

Update Audio Drivers:

  • Go to Device Manager by typing "device manager" in the taskbar search box.
  • Expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" section.
  • Right-click on your audio device and select "Update driver."

Check Sound Settings:

  • Right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "Open Sound settings."
  • Ensure the right playback device is selected.

Run Audio Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
  • Select "Playing Audio" and click on "Run the troubleshooter."

Check External Audio Devices:

  • Make sure no external audio devices are connected to your headphone jack that might be redirecting the sound.

Inspect Physical Condition:

  • Ensure that the speaker area is not blocked.
  • If possible, open the device to check the physical connection of the speakers.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
