B&O Equalizer Software missing after the upgrade to windows 10
After the upgrade to windows 10, the pre installed B&O Equalizer software is missing. Besides after i installed the audio driver provided by Hp Support , the sound quality and the level are degraded.
I am unable to find the software. Help

Hi
If the system was not working correctly with Windows 8 (in your original Post). It will not work correct in Window 10.
Your updates needed to be completed for Windows 8.1 before installing Windows 10. You will need to return the system to Windows 8. Make sure all the updates have been completed.
Here is a link from Microsoft to make sure before you upgrade.

I did some more searching, and found a post on reddit, where someone reported the same problem and tried the same things as you have, and he reported that strange as it seems his audio was fixed when he updated his video drivers.
Very strange, but it would not hurt to give it a try.

microphone delay / echo / audio bounce from mono plug microphone and internal microphone
hi everyone... i have been trying for months to figure out how to banish the echo /delay from my g6 laptop!i have a g6 with 4gb ram and an i7-3632qm cpu @ 2.20ghz!i have uninstalled audio drivers.. reinstalled the idt audio driver.. reset..refreshed.. troubleshoot recording devices..troubleshoot playback devices.. gone between hp forums and windows forums.. tested youtube remedies.. changed quality of audio from cd quality to studio quality.. changed o.s from 7 to 8.. to 8.1... to 10... turned off "listen too" button then adjusted secondary control for hd audio.. !!i even tried looking into older audio drivers with no luck!!if i cant fix this any chance hp would do a recall?i love this laptop and it served me well as a video dj.. but now im getting back into recording.. i am devasted and stuck in the middle of the ocean in a row boat with no paddle!!!glug glug!!!thanx in advance...!!!

I understand that you downgraded your system to Windows 7, and now you no longer have the Beats Audio software.
Please post the full product number for your notebook. See the following, if you need help with that information.
How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Normally the Beats Audio is a part of a package, including the Operating System for a specific model. It may not be available for a different OS for that system.

Mute button light wont work
Im having hp15p077tx, upgraded to windows 10 a few days back and now the mute button light won't work. The mute button itself works, but not the light. How can I fix this? I run Windows 10 64-bit if that is of any use. Thanks!

No answer from HP yet regarding this. The driver you have provided in downloads for Windows 10 (sp63555.exe) is not compatiable with Windows 10!
Sound quality is really bad. Beats Audio control panel is not working.
Please fix this.
I think it is just modifying few lines of code for the driver.

Audio playback has problems on several programs/apps.
My laptop is HP Split x2. If you require more info on the model, I can provide.
Observations:
- Online playback (Youtube) has issues. I have not tested with other online programs.
- Offline, foobar2000, Apple Quicktime and "VLC for Desktop" plays just fine.
- But Groove and "VLC for Modern Windows" has problem.
This should be easy to debug with this observation.

I apologize for the misunderstanding, I see the configurations of the HP ENVY 17-n078ca Notebook. Here is a document on troubleshooting sound.
Please make sure your updates have been done on the Notebook. In the device manager under sound right click and update the driver. Here is another step to try.
1. Right click the Speaker icon in the bottom right corner by your time.
2. Click Playback Devices.
3. Click Speakers/Headphones.
4. Click Properties.
5. Click the Advanced tab on the Properties window.
6. Change the Default Format drop-down to the highest quality.
7. Apply the properties.
8. Click OK to close the properties window.
9. Click OK to close the Playback Devices.

Before, I insatlled graphic driver for Windows 8.1 by offical HP website http://support.hp.com/vn-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-1000-Notebook-PC-series/5330599/model/5343763#Z7_3054ICK0KGTE30AQO5O3KA30R1 . But when starting installing, the Windows 10 was stuck and I could not start Windows again except reinstalling a new Windows 10. So I don't think it's the solution. Can I give me the URL where you read ?

beats audio doesn't start with windows
Hi,
beats audio doesn't start with windows. when i log into windows, no beats icon shows in the notification area.
it only works when i go to Control Panel and open up beats audio control panel, then the icon shows up.

Can anybody tell me if a fix has been designed for this yet? I'm getting this error also on a laptop around 2 weeks old. I've spent hours of my time on the phone and webchats to HP and no-one can fix it, very frustrating and not good time management for me and also not good for HP advisors to be taken upo dealing with issues where a fix is already in place?
