Perform the following steps to hopefully resolve this issue:
- If the HDMI cable is connected, disconnect it.
- Perform a hard reset. Click here for assistance.
- Make sure all HP updates and Windows updates have been performed through HP Support Assistant. Click here for assistance.
- Restart the computer.
- Connect the HDMI cable and check the playback devices again.
