Thank you for responding with your product number. I see you have the same product as come4help, I had to ask so that I had the necessary information to help you properly. Now I am going to recommend that we roll back to a previous driver for your system running Windows 8. If you could follow the instructions below we can see if we can get this fixed for you:
Step 1: At the Tiles Menu type "Device Manager"
Step 2. Click on Device Manger
Step 3. Click on Sound, video and game cotrollers
Step 4. Right-click on your audio driver and select Uninstall
Step 5. Download and install IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver
This should resolve your issue with your audio only coming through on one side of your headset. If this does not fix the issue please re-post and I can provide additional support. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!
