If you're worried about the replacement drive not fitting/being compatible you have the option of buying the replacement drive through HP Part Surfer.  There are many hard drives listed in the notebook's Maintenance and Service Guide.  Take a look at section 4-8, it lists the part numbers for the various hard drives available.

You should be able to order the parts through HP Part Surfer.
