No, that was a complete waste of my time.
I've probably been programming computers longer than you've been alive. Telling me how Winodws Update SHOULD work is useless when the problem is with the Cyberlink Power Director Installation program. I had the same daily problem with Adobe for months. Windows Update has several steps: These are the updates available; select the update you want; download that update; install that update. Usually there is also a "Do you give permission for this update to happen" step that never comes up. Cyberlink update downloads a file to my computer, but does not install it. Why is that so hard for you to understand? Asking me for Kudos for something that doesn't work makes me kind of angry.
