Here is my final suggestion;

 

Please provide the complete model name and/or product number of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq makes thousands of models of computers that are all different. Without this information it may be difficult or impossible to assist you in resolving your issue.

 

The above requested information can be found on the bottom of your laptop computer or inside the battery case.

 

Provide exact details of your issue.

 

Create your personal set of HP Recovery Discs before doing anything else with your computer.

Please see "Creating Recovery Discs or Saving a Recovery Image to a USB Flash Drive (Windows 8)" for instructions on creating Hp Recovery Media for your computer.

 

Perform an HP System Recovery to reset your computer to a factory like state.

Please see "Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 8)" to perform an HP System Recovery on your computer.

 

If after providing exact details of your issue and following the above advice, your computer still isn't functioning as you expect... I can try to escalate your concerns.
