Hi:

See if this driver works for you...create a restore point first in case the driver doesn't work so you can do a system restore to a point before you installed the below driver.

This package contains the driver that enables the IDTHigh-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that arerunning a supported operating system.

File name: sp63555.exe

You're very welcome.

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to try this driver...

This package provides the driver for the Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

File name: sp75973.exe

no audio after windows update

Hi

Following an update to windows 10 to the anniversary edition, I have had trouble with the sound.

It states audio device not detected.  I uninstalled the audio drivers, and reinstalled them and it will work, but upon restarting the computer it gives the same error.  Sometimes a restart will make it work again, otherwise have to reinstall again.

I couldn't get it to work consistently, so I rolled back windows to the previous build and it is working fine again.

Has anyone had this issue, or been able to fix it?

thanks

None of this helped. So I am going to purchase speakers to see if that works. With all the issues I have had with this laptop, I'll never buy HP again. It seems like whenever an update comes it, the laptop always crashes. I've already had to replace the hard drive, twice. Now I have to replace the speakers. It is very frustrating to constantly have to reformat and reinstall the OS several times a month because the updates crash the computer. I also own a Toshiba and I have never had to replace anything other than the bottom case and the ac adapter.  I have owned the HP for 2 years, and the Toshiba for 4. Next laptop purchase will be another Toshiba!!!

Audio Driver issues after Windows 10 Anniversary Update

After upgrading the OS to Windows (10.0.14393), Conexant driver failed. No Device Installed. Also in Device Manager, Intel High Definition Audio is missing a driver. Can't find a copy (bundeled with another driver...video maybe).

Anyway, fixed the Conexant driver problem by totally uninstalling the Conexant ISST Audio application and re-installing.

My only problem now is that audio does not go out to a HDTV plugged into the HDMI port. Video goes well, but no sound. HDMI does not show in Audio Devices as well.

Any ideas? HDMI port tied to the Intel High Definition Audio device?

The Device ID's for the Intel HD Audio device are:

INTELAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2809&SUBSYS_80860101&REV_1000
INTELAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2809&SUBSYS_80860101

Thanks

Hi:

Yes, that is the Intel HD audio device that needs the Intel graphics driver reinstalled.

I suggest this option to install the driver since sometimes simply reinstalling the Intel graphics driver doesn't work.

Download and install this free file utility.  The 2nd file on the list is for 64 bit.

http://www.7-zip.org/

After you install 7-Zip, download and save, but do not run this Intel graphics driver from your notebook's support page.

This package provides the Intel video drivers, control panel and display audio driver for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75501-76000/sp75984.exe

After you download the graphics driver file, right click on it and select 7-zip from the list.

Have 7-Zip Extract to:  and let it extract the file into its folder name (sp75984).

When that is done, go to the device manager and click on the problem Intel HDMI audio device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.

Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder 7-Zip created.

Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

Then restart the PC, and you should be able to get both audio and video from the HDMI connection.

No audio on monitor connected to laptop

I have an HP 15-f233wm laptop connected via HDMI to an AOC 2476WM monitor.  I have set the monitor as the default playback device with the volume on the laptop and the volume on the monitor both set to max.  I can see the bars going up and down indicating that there should be something coming out but nothing is.  If I switch the laptop speakers back to the default playback device the sound plays just fine.  I have also tried using an audio cable to go from the headphone jack on the laptop to the monitor, no luck.  Both of these are off the shelf Wal Mart products.  Any help is appreciated.

It's not the i2476vwm model it's the 2476Wm model. It does have volume buttons as well and when you push them the little graphic comes up on screen to show it going up or down. There's also an audio input jack on the back.

Try the following IDT HD Audio v6.10.6498.0 driver packages from either sp65012.exe or sp65196.exe

Just run either one normally (meaning NO Win7 nor Win8 compatibility mode needed) and it should install the IDT audio 6498 driver on Win10 and reboot.

Then after the IDT audio driver is installed, google search for the DolbyHomeTheater.msi file v7.2.7000.4.

I think Lenovo has the Dolby Home Theater v4 application software downloads either here or here.

need to find a Bluetooth driver that supports A2DP Audio codec

HP ProBook 4530s Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) Model #: LV744PA

I have bought a JBL Flip 3 Bluetooth speaker but in adding the device it does not install a workable driver. JBL have told me that:

you'll need to find a Bluetooth driver that supports A2DP Audio codec. HARMAN do not have these and therefore you will need to contact your PC manufacturer……

On HP driver website, for my model of laptop, there are a couple of BT drivers under Network Drivers, ….:

  • Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth 4.0+HS Driver for Microsoft Windows (International)   system software Manager Icon
  • Intel PROSet Bluetooth Driver (American, International)   system software Manager Icon
  • Ralink/Motorola Bluetooth Adapter Driver (American, International)   system software Manager Icon

Which of these if any, do I need to install or is there another, that supports A2DP Audio codec?
